1. Introduction

Welcome to x402 Pioneers ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our platform at basex402.com (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

x402 Pioneers is a platform for minting and trading limited-edition NFT collectibles that celebrate the x402 micropayments protocol. The Platform allows users to mint NFTs, upload custom images, create personalized content pages, and trade NFTs on a secondary marketplace (coming soon).

2. Service Description

Limited Collection: Only 402 x402 NFTs will ever be minted. Once sold out, no additional NFTs can be created.

Current Features:

  • Primary NFT minting at $1 USDC per NFT
  • Custom image uploads for your NFT
  • x402 micropayment protocol integration

Future Features:

  • Secondary NFT marketplace with x402 payments
  • Personalized /[tokenId] content pages (coming soon)
  • Agentic commerce

3. Disclaimer of Affiliation

x402 NFTs are digital collectibles created to celebrate and demonstrate the x402 micropayments protocol. This project is independently developed and is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Base or Coinbase.

We utilize Coinbase Developer Platform services (such as embedded wallets) and deploy on Base network, but x402 Pioneers operates as an independent third-party project.

4. NFT Purchase & Ownership

4.1 Purchase Terms

  • Primary minting price: $1 USDC per NFT (plus gas fees)
  • Payment is processed on Base blockchain
  • All sales are final - no refunds
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • You are responsible for having sufficient USDC and ETH for gas fees

4.2 What You Own

When you purchase an x402NFT, you own the NFT token itself. This grants you:

  • Ownership of the blockchain token
  • Right to transfer, sell, or trade the NFT
  • Right to display the NFT and associated image
  • Access to /[tokenId] page features (when available)

4.3 What You Don't Own

NFT ownership does NOT include:

  • Intellectual property rights to the x402brand or platform
  • Any guarantee of future utility, value, or features
  • Commercial usage rights beyond personal display
  • The right to use x402branding for commercial purposes

4.4 Rarity Tiers

Rarity tiers (Genesis, Pioneer, Early Adopter, Protocol User) are for entertainment and community purposes only. They do not guarantee any specific utility, benefits, or value. All NFTs are functionally equivalent on the blockchain.
